You paint the One God/Christians in a negative light. Will that turn off readers?

It may, but this is a fantasy that pits the future of the Gaels at that time, who lived their lives as if the Tuatha were their only path to commune with higher beings. To write semi-historical Epic Fantasy is to immerse yourself in that time. And I hope that’s what readers expect. As an author, I am just a guide trying to paint a picture with words.
