What is Blades of Destiny about?

Blades of Destiny, set in 5th-cetnury Celtic Ireland, follows Breanna Ban Morna as she survives life under a binding geas, Norse occupation, and imposed divine interference. Unable to choose her path freely, she learns that endurance and reactive protection, not destiny, define the limits of her power.
